Recommended test
Export the same four elevations as individual pages and a four-up sheet, then compare legibility.
- Configure Front, Back, Left and Right panes in orthographic Line display.
- Export one elevation per page with measurements enabled.
- Export a four-up A3 arrangement with a simple information block.
- Open both outputs and verify orientation, scale indication, labels, borders and any Solar Shade overlay.
Choose the output
Elevation export supports PDF and PNG workflows. Use individual pages when each view needs maximum size. Use the four-up A3 arrangement for a compact coordinated set.
Scale and fit
Choose a supported scale or custom setting and watch for fit errors. A view that cannot fit the available sheet area at the requested scale needs a different scale or page arrangement. Do not shrink labels until they become technically unreadable.
Measurements and overlays
Include measurements only after checking their endpoints and offsets. The currently applied Solar Shade overlay can be included, but it remains experimental and should carry date, time and location context.
Information block
The A3 layout can include rows, columns, borders and information boxes. Keep the block consistent with the project title, revision and units. Inspect the final generated file for clipped linework and verify scale after printing, because PDF viewer “fit to page” settings can alter physical output.
